About Ledgerline

We keep the books honest so the plan can be bold.

Ledgerline began in 2021, after one too many board meetings where the spreadsheet and the story disagreed. We built the tool we wanted: one that treats every expense as a fact and every forecast as a promise with a date on it.

Today, finance leads at hundreds of growing companies close their books on Ledgerline — not because it is pretty, but because it never rounds the truth.

Principles

Five dry rules we refuse to bend.

Numbers before narratives. 01
A forecast without a date is a wish. 02
Variance is information, not embarrassment. 03
If the plan breaks, say it first and say it plainly. 04
Every figure earns its place on the page. 05

The team

Founded by people who have closed too many books by hand.

We're a small team of former controllers, FP&A leads, and engineers. No growth hackers, no hype — just people who respect a balanced ledger.
